ABOUT THE RACE
Gotland Runt is one of Northern Europe's great offshore sailing classics. First raced around Gotland in 1937, the event brings together a diverse international fleet for approximately 350 nautical miles of demanding offshore racing in the Baltic Sea.
Starting and finishing in Sandhamn, the course combines the Stockholm archipelago with open-sea racing around Gotland – testing navigation, strategy, endurance and boat speed.
In 2027, Gotland Runt celebrates 90 years since the first race and will also form part of the ORCi Double Handed European Championship.
